ALU-PAINT S
Reflective aluminium, solvent-based bituminous, protective, and decorative paint
Description
Description

A solvent-based decorating and protective paint, containing aluminium, designed for use on new and old bitumen-polymer waterproofing membranes.
Once dry, ALU-PAINT S forms a film that reflects the sun's rays, making an appreciable contribution to the thermal insulation of the protected parts.
It does not flow at high temperatures; it has excellent plasticity and will perfectly adhere to the surface of bituminous-polymer waterproofing membranes in any weather condition.

DESTINATIONS OF USE

ALU-PAINT S is used as a protection for bitumen-polymer membranes, providing for a shiny silvery appearance.

Applied on membranes with a slate finish, it protects the bitumen-polymer membrane and fixes the grit on the surface avoiding its natural removal, increasing the coating duration.
It is also particularly suitable for decorating cold-applied bituminous coating and/or metal structures.

WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Carefully read the technical data sheet and the safety data sheet, available below.

  • Flammable product.
  • Stir well before use. Apply the second coat in the same direction as the first.
  • Before painting new membranes, wait at least 6 months from their laying, except for membranes with a daring top finish or TEX that can be immediately painted. Do not apply directly to membranes with PE film and gloss film finish but remove the finish by flashing.
  • Do not store packages above 40°C and in any case protected from heat sources and away from open flames, in dry and well-ventilated places.
