Water-based eco-friendly protective paint, containing aluminium, designed for use over new and old bituminous roofing membranes as well as on liquid bituminous membranes.
Once dry, ALU-PAINT W will produce a seamless coating that will reflect light and help abate heat caused by direct sun exposure, thus improving the thermal insulation of the coated area.
It does not flow at high temperatures, and it is plastic enough to follow the movements and expansions of bituminous-polymer membranes subjected to the most severe temperature variations.

DESTINATIONS OF USE
ALU-PAINT W is designed to protect and decorate bituminous coating and polymer bitumen membranes providing for a shiny silvery appearance.
Applied on membranes with a slate finish, it protects the polymer bitumen membrane and fixes the grit on the surface avoiding its natural removal, increasing the coating duration.
It is also suitable for decorating cold-applied bituminous coating and/or metal structures.
WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Carefully read the technical data sheet and the safety data sheet, available below.
- The product fears frost. Once frozen, the product is no longer reusable.
- Stir well before use. Apply the second coat in the same direction as the first.
- Before painting new membranes, wait at least 6 months from their laying, except for membranes with a daring top finish or TEX that can be immediately painted. Do not apply directly to membranes with PE film and gloss film finish but remove the finish by flashing.
- Do not store packages below +5°C and in any case protected from heat sources, in dry places.
