Solvent-based black bituminous elastic adhesive and sealant.
It looks like an easily workable paste to be spread evenly on the horizontal laying surface, at the same time creating an intermediate waterproof layer between the support and the polymer bitumen membrane, thus reducing the negative effects of any cracks in the support.

DESTINATIONS OF USE
COPERGLUE BASE can be used in the following applications: cold-bonding and sealing of bituminous membranes on various types of surfaces consisting of concrete, wood and insulating panels (expanded polyurethane, mineral wool and expanded perlite), in place of the traditional flame application and cold-bonding and sealing onto old bituminous membranes.
It is recommended for waterproofing works at locations where the use of an open flame is prohibited, and for the installation of bituminous waterproofing membranes over combustible or fire-sensitive materials (i.e. wooden roofs) that prevent or discourage the use of flames.
Once dry, in addition to stubbornly bonding the membrane above, it creates an additional intermediate waterproof layer between the support and the membrane itself.
It also reduces stress due to microcracks in cement supports.
The covers must be horizontal, with a maximum slope of 5%; if the slope is greater, integrate the gluing by mechanical fixing.
Adhesion in total adhesion significantly reduces the tension generated by the thermal changes on the visible mantles, reducing the formation of folds.
