COPERTHERM EPS is a range of composite roofing elements in rolls or panels that combine EPS boards, either flat of scored, and a membrane of polymer modified bitumen. The insulation layer consists of self-extinguishing expanded polystyrene, whereas the liner is a heat welded plastomer-modified membrane rich in co-polymers and poly-olefins that ensure a perfect bond to the insulation layer as well of all joints.
The COPERTHERM EPS range complies with the Italian requirements 2.4.1.2 and 2.4.2.9 of Ministerial Decree 11/10/2017 (CAM - Criteri Ambientali Minimi) about the content of recovered or recycled material, exclusively for the following versions available only on request:
- COPERTHERM EPS 100 CAM
- COPERTHERM EPS 150 CAM
- COPERTHERM EPS 200 CAM
Thermal-insulating layer
Self-extinguishing expanded and sintered polystyrene (EPS).
Available thicknesses (mm): 30, 40, 50, 60, 80, 100, 120, 140

Recommended destinations of use
COPERTHERM EPS is recommended for use in all applications where a combination of thermal insulation and waterproofing is required: it allows to quickly insulate and waterproof various types of roof constructions including roofs with a complex geometric design.
This factory made combination of polymer-bitumen membrane and heat-sensitive thermal insulation allows for safe, easy and cost effective installation works.
MINERAL versions COPERTHERM EPS have membranes that are self-protected with slate granules and are most suitable for use under slates or tiles and on discontinuous roofs in general.
