COPERTHERM PIR is a range of roofing elements in rolls or panels that combine polyisocyanurate boards, and a membrane of polymer-modified bitumen.
The insulation layer is made of CFC- and HCFC- free, self-extinguishing rigid polyiso board (PIR) available with various surface finishes:
- gas tight multi-layer lining on both faces for a superior thermal insulation performance with a λD value of 0.022 (COPERTHERM PIR MS)
- saturated glass on both faces (COPERTHERM PIR VV)
- bituminous felt paper on both faces (COPERTHERM PIR CF)
The whole COPERTHERM PIR range complies with the Italian requirements 2.4.1.2 and 2.4.2.9 of Ministerial Decree 11/10/2017 (CAM - Criteri Ambientali Minimi) about the content of recovered or recycled material.

Recommended destinations of use
COPERTHERM PIR is recommended for use in all applications where a combination of thermal insulation and waterproofing is required: it allows to quickly insulate and waterproof various types of roof constructions including roofs with a complex geometric design.
This factory made combination of polymer-bitumen membrane and heat-sensitive thermal insulation allows for safe, easy and cost effective installation works.
MINERAL versions COPERTHERM PIR have membranes that are self-protected with slate granules and are most suitable for use under slates or tiles and on discontinuous roofs in general.
