ISO-FIX is a penetrating and fixing product based on water-based acrylic resins in a unique red colour. The layer applied by spraying on the cover, once dried, is therefore clearly visible.
It can be used on slightly damp surfaces (maximum 3%).
Since it is not flammable, it can be applied in the presence of heat sources or open flames without risk of fire.

DESTINATIONS OF USE

ISO-FIX is used as a penetrating and fixing primer, recommended in the remediation of asbestos cement slabs before interventions with coloured encapsulating products such as COPERBIT COLOR.
It prevents the dispersion of fibres in the environment.

  • It is used as a visible encapsulating treatment from the outside type A, in compliance with Ministerial Decree 20/08/1999.
  • It is used as a fixing primer of asbestos fibres in the removal phases of asbestos cement slabs, such as temporary auxiliary encapsuling paint for removal according to type D in compliance with Ministerial Decree 20/08/1999.

WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

  • The product fears frost. Once frozen, the product is no longer reusable. Stir well before use.
  • Store the product in its original packaging, at a temperature of not less than +5°C, protected from heat sources and away from open flames, in dry and well-ventilated places.
  • It is mandatory to follow all the laws relating to remediation through the encapsulation treatment of asbestos cement slabs.
