Bituminous primer based on bitumen (does not contain oxidized bitumen) and pure solvents (Toluene-free).
The product is characterised by the fast speed of film release, excellent adhering and penetrating properties, and the absence of stickiness.
PRIMER SP is free from TOLUENE and, compared to traditional bituminous primers, guarantees greater safety for the end user and a lower odorous impact in the working environment.

DESTINATIONS OF USE
PRIMER SP is used as prime coat, to block the effects of dust and seal the porosity of concrete surfaces, it contributes to speed up and improve the application of bituminous waterproofing membranes, both torch-and cold-applied, such as COPERGLUE BASE.
It can also be applied to aged polymer bitumen membranes or metal surfaces without painting, galvanising, or rusting.
It is also suitable for applications on viaducts and concrete bridges to promote the adhesion of polymer bitumen membranes.
It is used as a waterproofing paint in concrete foundation walls, as a fixing primer for cement, wood, and metal surfaces and for the protection and waterproofing of exposed and buried pipes and metal tanks.
It is also used for the protection of pipes, gutters, poles, exposed and buried metal tanks, metal structures in general.
It is used as a rust protection commonly known as "tar".
WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

- Do not use indoors. If the application will be conducted on roofs of residential buildings and/or in enclosed environments, PRIMER SP must be replaced with the bituminous water-based PRIMER W.
- Store the product in its original packaging, at a temperature of not less than +5°C, protected from heat sources and away from open flames, in dry and well-ventilated places.
