Reflective white paint with a high solar index, on the outside, protective, and decorative, self-extinguishing.
Once dry, SOLAR CERAMIC FR forms an elastic and strong film that perfectly adheres to the products on which it is applied, resistant to weathering agents and to any micro cracks that may form in the substrate.
The main feature of the product, thanks to the presence of a special ceramic powder, is the creation of a highly reflective shield against sunlight, ensuring excellent thermal insulation with subsequent energy savings as well as prolonging the life of the bituminous membranes. In addition, the formation with special additives, makes the product fire resistant with classification and BROOF(t2) certification according to UNI EN 13501-5.

DESTINATIONS OF USE
SOLAR CERAMIC FR was precisely designed for use with COOL ROOF systems, to reduce the temperature of the roof and the underlying environments and to increase the scattered light to improve the efficiency and yield of the photovoltaic panels, as well as to reduce the energy consumption of summer air conditioning.
It is the ideal solution for roofs where photovoltaic systems will be installed with a request for classification BROOF(t2) based on the results of the external fire exposure tests on the roofs.
SOLAR CERAMIC FR, in fact, passed the external fire resistance test according to UNI CEN/TS 1187 with classification BROOF(t2) applicable to all waterproofing systems made as follows:
- Fuel or non-combustible support with a density greater than 15kg/m3
- First coat of SOLAR CERAMIC FR
- Glass veil rebar 50g/m2
- Second coat SOLAR CERAMIC FR
WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Carefully read the safety data sheet, available on www.copernit.it.
- Stir well before use. The product fears frost.
- Before painting new membranes, wait at least 6 months from their laying, except for membranes with a daring top finish or TEX that can be immediately painted. Do not apply directly to membranes with PE film and gloss film finish but remove the finish by flashing.
- Do not store packages below +5°C and protected from heat sources, in dry places.
