SOLAR ULTRAWHITE
Protective, decorative, and fixing solvent-based highly reflecting and thermal insulating coating for bituminous waterproofing, CLS, tiles and metal surfaces
Description
Description

White solvent-base and ready-to-use protective and decorative liquid coating.
Once dry, SOLAR ULTRAWHITE forms a flexible and seamless film, resistant to atmospheric agents, perfectly adhering to the products on which it is applied, and which fixes and protects the mineral finish on the bitumen-polymer membranes.
The main feature of the product, thanks to the very white reflective colour, is to provide a highly reflective shield against sunlight, ensuring excellent thermal insulation and effectively contributing to energy savings as well as prolonging the life of the bituminous membranes.

DESTINATIONS OF USE

SOLAR ULTRAWHITE is specifically designed for COOL-ROOF systems; it will reduce the temperature accumulated by the bituminous layers and will improve the scattered light over the roof area, and consequently also the efficiency and yield of any solar panels installed thereon as well as limiting the energy consumption of summer air conditioning.
By its nature, it is also a valid and effective protection against degradation caused by UV rays on surfaces consisting of powdered, sandblasted, TEX or slate bitumen-polymer membranes and waterproofing bituminous liquid sheaths (water-based or solvent-based) even if affected by the sporadic presence of stagnant water.
It can also be used on concrete, fibre cement, wood, tiles, and metal surfaces.

WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Carefully read the technical data sheet and the safety data sheet, available below.

  • Flammable product. Stir well before use.
  • Before painting new membranes, wait at least 6 months from their laying, except for membranes with a daring top finish or TEX that can be immediately painted. Do not apply directly to membranes with PE film and gloss film finish but remove the finish by flashing.
  • Do not store packages above +35°C, protected from heat sources, away from open flames, in dry and well-ventilated places
