Pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR) Copernit S.p.a. (hereinafter referred to as Copernit) supplies you with some information related to the processing of your personal data during the visit to the site http://www.copernit-waterproofing.it


Online browsing data

During normal operation, theIT systems and software procedures that operate this portal collect some personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the useof internet communication protocols. Apart from what has been specified with reference to online browsing data, the provision of data for further processing purposes is optional. Failing to provide data may result in the inability to pursue such additional purposes,in particular it will not be possible to use the newsletter serviceor the contact and user registration form.


Copernit will process personal data:

  • For the technical and commercial management of the website;

  • To respond to any requests for subscription to the newsletter from users.


Your personal data will be processed by business IT systems, paper files and IT systems operated by third parties. Your data will be processed by employees and collaborators duly authorized pursuant to Art. 29 of GDPR. Pursuant to Art. 32 of GDPR specific security measures are observed in order to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorised access to said data.


Your data subject to processing may be shared with Subjects that are contractually bound to Copernit within the European Union. Data may be shared with third parties belonging to the following categories:

  • Operators of platforms providing Social Network or analysis services;
  • Companies providing hosting services relating to the database of the website, the servers are based in Italy at server farms certified according to the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2013;
  • Companies managing the outsourced database of the website;
  • Platforms supplying services for sending newsletters;
  • Consultants and professionals, also in an associated form;
  • External collaborators with sales and technical functions;
  • Public Security Authorities.

The subjects belonging to the above categories are the data Processors pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, orJoint Controllers pursuant to Art. 26 of GDPR or operate completely independently as separate data Controllers. The list of any data processors is constantly updated and available at our offices. Your data will not be disclosed.


Your personal data is storedin the European Union, but also at providers supplying hosting or analysis services with offices outside the EU. The above providers are all members of the EU-US agreement Privacy Shield that legitimises the transfer in complete safety.
